CO2 WIRE
 
Welding wire is a filler metal which used to fill in weld pool while welding to increase the welding metal volume and suitable for the continuous welding and cover the bead for a beautiful shiny scales.
Moreover, using CO2 welding wire is unnecessary to knock any slag out like stick electrode and increase the welding efficiency,making the workpiece is more stronger and durable.
There are several welding wire classifications divided by the type of metal, such as steel metal and other metal, and divided from the welding procedure such as MIG welding, TIG welding, ARC welding and submerged arc welding.
The different metal welding is able to choose by a various welding process therefore our company separates the type of welding wire 
upon the welding process first and subdivide from metal types accordingly.

  • CO2 WIRE FOR STAINLESS STEEL WORK

     

    CO2 wire is bare wire suitable for continuous welding, convenient and easy to use.

    Can use with CO2 gas, CO2 gas combine with another gas and argon gas to cover for shiny and fine bead.

    Welding by using CO2 wire is unnecessary to knock any slag out like stick electrode.

    MIG wire grade 308L or 308LSI is suitable to use for food industry, pipe and boiler welding.

    MIG wire grade 309L or 309LSI is suitable to use for connecting with different metal such as steel connect with stainless steel.

    MIG wire grade 316L or 316LSI is suitable to use for chemical, food, petroleum industry and shipyard.

     

    • MIG 308LSI is composed of MIG308L + Si (about 0.6-1.0%)
    • MIG 309LSI is composed of MIG309L + Si (about 0.6-1.0%)
    • MIG 316LSI is composed of MIG316L + Si (about 0.6-1.0%)

     

    Carbon = enhances the strength of stainless steel, but if there is too much will occur chromium carbide (Cr23C6)

     according to the quantities of carbon which will result oxidation or corrosion around the toe.

    L = the reduction of carbon in low carbon wire (0.03%) reduces the occurrence of chromium carbide (Cr23C6)

    Si = adding silicon in welding wire to increase the strength and make the molten metal in weld pool is easily melted (lower melting point)  and more clear.

     

    INTRODUCTION FOR USE

     

    • To use for stainless steel and carbon steel welding.
    • To use for carbon steel coated welding in order to provide excellent corrosion resistance.
    • MIG 308LSI uses the same as 308L (but get more effective welding).
    • MIG 309LSI uses the same as 309L (but get more effective welding).
    • MIG 316LSI uses the same as 316L (but get more effective welding).
